Toy Carousels

Children played with toys for many centuries that required imagination, and child actions and never required a battery.

In fact the toys they played with demonstrated things that they would later learn about in Physics.   Things like centrifical force, gravity, energy, balance.

Our newest item actually demonstrates all of these things, because there is no mechanism.   A simple push on the animals winds up the cords to start the spin.

The inspiration for this latest "toy" was found in a book on "Folk toys".   Toys that children had in the 1700's before electricity and batteries.

We plan to expand our designs for this item in the future.

Our toy carousel is made from hard woods and hardwood plywood.
It stands approximately 12 and 1/2" tall, and is approximately 7 and 1/2" across.

Our Toy Carousel sells for $35.00 plus S&H.

The Carousel pictured below is a bit different than our other carousel.  It is constructed from select solid hardwoods.  
Different varieties are choosen for color contrast.  This picture demonstrates our use of Red Oak, Black Walnut, Honduras Mahoganey, Cherry, and Ash.  
We designed this with our "traditionalist carousel clientel" in mind.

It is the same size as our other carousel.  It sells for $60.00 plus S&H.
